The spam filter seems to be catching a few more legitimate comments than usual recently. I just rescued about nine comments (out of over one hundred messages flagged as spam) from the last several days. Some of those comments were from some of our most regular commenters. I know that if you put in a lot of links your comment is more likely to be flagged. Besides that I don’t really know what it is looking for.
If your comment does not appear, feel free to email me to look into it. I do get a lot of email, but if you are a regular commenter I will try to look into it as soon as I can.

Someone said I was anti-Semitic earlier (that’s ok, I’m not angry about it). I don’t know, sometimes I feel like the conversation I’ve made in my life is like one giant Spam message. I know a lot of people I’ve met in my life would agree with that. Especially in certain East Asia sections of the globe.
As far as I can tell James keeps the conversation clean and civilized. I think that’s why many of us love this site.
Who cares?
Talk is cheap. One more comment, one less…
So, when do we organize this bank run on Citigroup and BoA? I’d love to participate but my money is already in a credit union.
FYI on other sites I frequent the magic number is approximately 4 links, 3 and you are fine; 4 and you are moderated. Also thanks to various drugs out there words like social ism (divided in case IT set off the filter) look like drug names.
just add some captcha engine if you can. noone likes it, but what else can you do? or maybe registering using activation emails
