The G7 alone might be able to move the needle a bit but it won’t be nearly enough. I wish (and I mean this sincerely) that your prediction in this post was the likely outcome but I doubt it. I think the natural direction for nations will be to go insular (after attempting to cooperate). We are all still pretty tribal because that reptilian part of the brain takes over in these situations.
